When I saw this on Pinterest I was immediately in love. My car, with the help of two little ones, is always a mess. From lollipop wrappers, to miscellaneous toys, and even french toast sticks left over from a few days earlier, it is inevitably difficult to keep up with all the trash. I usually just try to throw it all in an empty fast food bag or plastic grocery bag. High class, right?
For around $7 you can find a cereal container at Wal Mart, Target and pretty much any home store. If you don't feel like making the trip out to get one check out The Container Store online.
2. Bread Tags for Power Strip
Although I am not a computer buff I do appreciate some good organization especially when it comes to the power strip. I for one am the wife who always ends up unplugging something that is pertinent to the functioning of the house just so I can plug in my coffee maker or hair straightener. Whoops. I really like the idea of using the bread tags as labels for those "need to know" cords. No more ooopsss with these handy little guys.
No cost is necessary to achieve this idea. Just save the tags to your bread, turn them over and label them for your cords.
3. Ice Cube Tray Organizer
We all have them, well maybe not all of us with all the high tech ice cube maker refrigerators out there, but still we have probably had one in the past. The never failing ice cube tray which is even better re-purposed for storage. IHeart Organizing gives you tons of great ideas for organizing your home and this is one of them. Ice cube trays are great for organizing jewelry, serving food to the kids, a painter's palette, office supplies, screws and bolts, and the list goes on and on.
For around $2-$4 you will have one item with a ton of uses
Do you have any economical uses for things around the house to make life easier?
