This was a blast and the kids really enjoyed it too. E is for Explore! gives us so many fun craft and experiment ideas for kids of all ages to enjoy. When I saw the tie-dye milk I thought it would be a fun craft for a hippy like me.
All you need for this are the following items:
- Whole milk
- Food coloring
- A few Q-tips
- Dawn dish washing soap
Here is how it works:
- Pour your milk in a dish
- Add a few drops of each food coloring color
- Take your Q-tip and dip the tip in the dawn soap
- Dip the Q-tip in the center of one of your colors and watch magic happen.
The End Result:
The dawn causes the food coloring the move through the milk causes a ripple and tie dye effect. The kids will love the awesome colors that are made and is a great project even for the little tykes in your life. "Definitely Do" for sure!
"Now get out there and make something beautiful and from the heart"
